This policy describes what information the Ministry for Space app ("the app") handles and how. The short version: your game progress stays on your device and in your own iCloud account, the app shows non-personalized ads through Google AdMob, and the developer receives personal information only if you choose to send a support email.
Your game progress, settings, and saves are stored locally on your device. If your device is signed in to iCloud, a copy of your save may also sync to your personal iCloud account (Apple's iCloud Key-Value storage) so your progress can be restored if you reinstall the app; that copy lives in your own iCloud, is not accessible to the developer, and is removed if you reset the game. Save data is not transmitted to the developer, and the local copy is deleted if you delete the app.
The app's Send Feedback button can attach a copy of your save (a "save code") to the email you write, so a bug you report can be reproduced. This happens only when you choose to send such an email. You can review and remove the code before sending.
The app displays ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google. The app is configured to request non-personalized ads, meaning ads are selected based on general context rather than a profile of you.
To request, deliver, limit repetition of, measure, secure, and improve ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
Google may use these categories for third-party advertising, aggregated reporting and analytics, ad delivery and measurement, frequency capping, security, fraud prevention, and improvement of its advertising services. The developer may view aggregate AdMob reports but does not receive an individual player's identity or game save through AdMob.
The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, so Apple's cross-app advertising identifier (IDFA) is not available to the app or Google Mobile Ads. The app also disables Google Mobile Ads' publisher first-party identifier. Google may still use other app-bounded or developer-bounded identifiers for non-personalized ad delivery, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and diagnostics. The developer does not use advertising data to market the app or build player profiles.
This collection is performed by Google under its own policies and retention practices. If you voluntarily send a support email, the developer receives the email address and name shown by your email service, your message, the app version, and any save code you leave in the message. This information is used only to respond to your request and diagnose the reported problem. Support email is handled through Gmail, and no support information is sold or used for advertising.
Support correspondence and included save codes are kept while the request is active and deleted no later than 12 months after the last correspondence. Downloaded copies of save codes follow the same schedule. You may request earlier deletion by emailing jtfpublic+spacetycoon@gmail.com; the request will normally be completed within 30 days. De-identified bug descriptions and fix notes that can no longer identify or contact you may be retained. Information may be kept longer only when reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or prevent abuse.
The app has no user accounts, sign-in, purchases, subscriptions, custom analytics, chat, user-generated content service, or developer-operated backend. The developer does not sell personal information.
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are configured with a restricted maximum content rating.
If the app's data practices change — for example, if analytics or new ad features are added — this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised.
